It is particularly popular with those looking to stay for a few days, weeks or even months, either for business or pleasure. Kitchen area
In Aparthotels, you have your own fully-equipped kitchen.
You can eat when you want (instead of having to eat when the hotel restaurant is open). You control your expenses (substantial savings compared to hotels offering three restaurant meals/day) and you can cook however you like. Foreigners, in particular, often tire of French cuisine and prefer to cook for themselves.
Living area
Much larger living area than in a hotel room
You have a living room plus one or several bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Even studio apartments have a sleeping area, a dining area and a relaxation or work area.
In complete independence
From arrival to departure, you manage your apartment as you wish. You can feel right at home. Outsiders are not allowed to enter your apartment your absence, unless you have scheduled weekly housekeeping for example or requested some other service (maintenance, delivery services, etc.).
You can host friends, family or business relations over – just like at home. For example, a two-room downtown apartment is designed to accommodate visitors for business meetings in the living room/office, but it also has a convertible sofa bed if the family wants to come and stay for a few days or spend the weekend.
Whether they are located by the sea, in the mountains or in the country, the apartments often have several beds allowing them to accommodate a varying numbers of stepfamily members or friends during the stay.

All the services you need – housekeeping, laundry, information and mail service – are available at reception.
Tourism residences aften have extensive leisure amenities (swimming pool, play area, etc.) and offer customised services at different periods of the year (entertainment, visits, kids clubs, etc.)
In city centers, Aparthotels have meeting rooms and office-type facilities (business corner, photocopying, computer connections, etc.).
Tourism residences now provide a full range of services (included or for a fee) : massages, sheets and fresh towels, bar, dining room, swimming pool, kids play area, pet care facilities, ski rental, entertainment reservations, baby-sitting, sports courses, cultural activities, etc.
