National Federation of Tourism Residence, Aparthotels and Holiday Villages (FNRT) is the unique professional trade association for French tourism residences and represents 51% of operators. FNRT plays a key role liaising with the public authorities. Its professionalism and expertise enables it to respond to all types of regulatory, legal, social, and environmental demands. It also advises its members and provides them with support for all of their projects.

Tourism residences are classified accommodation, operated commercially, year-round or seasonal. They consist of one or several individual or collective buildings including furnished accommodation and common areas.
Holiday Villages
A holiday village is any accommodation center, whether operated commercially or not, intended to provide vacation stays at a fixed price that includes, in addition to board, the use of shared facilities, sports facilities, and community recreation.
